None of the default aircraft have an APU before FSX, and in FSX the APU doesn't really seem to function much. If you are only talking about add-on aircraft then each will be implementing such additional systems differently and you will need to refer to their documentation to determine how to operate it. Once you know how to operate your add-on aircraft, then you can seek ways of possibly assigning joystick buttons or switches, whether using FSUIPC or not. Regards Pete
