Re-install woes

I juat had to reinstall FSX.

After doing so, downloaded the latest version and installed with my registration. Program recognized and loaded.

Started FSX, recognized the FSUIPC program was there and ok'd to load.

Add-on tab does not show in FSX - for some reason - and other rpograms MTX that need it not functioning.

Any suggestions?

Ugh. Most SimConnect problems appear to arise that way. I'm beginning to believe that folks might as well re-install Windows if they're going to reinstall FSx! :-(

MTX? What's that?

I'd need to see both the Install and normal Log files, from the FSX Modules folder, to hazard a guess. Al the information will be there.

Really did not want to re-install, but about 20 miles from Gdansk scenery went bizarre. Must have added something on at some point that caused a conflict and could not identify.

In any case, after I installed SP 1 and 2 FSUIPC functioning fine. Thanks.
