Hi Pete

I have read the following Trouble with Flaps by John Veldthuis on Wed Oct 22, 2008 9:47 pm I do ave the same problem I use a registered version 2.85 but I noticed when I reinstalled version 2.75 the flap problem went away with my PMDG 744 So I guess I will stick with version 2.75 my only other question is, what is the file name of where we store all the buttons and switch settings I have so many planes set up I dont want to lose all my settings when I go back to version 2.75.

Thanks

Version 2.xx is unbelievably old, and was designed for FS2002. Are you sure you don't mean 3.75 and 3.85?

The flaps discrepancy was fixed in the Updated versions many weeks ago. Please see the Updates announcement above!

If you stick with any old versions, please never come back here for support as I cannot support them.

Pete with this update will I lose all my settings for my various aircraft that I use Or will I keep all my button and switch settings?

Updates are merely replacement DLL modules. They don't change you INI file, which is where all your settings are.

If you are worried about losing stuff, make backups, but you won't lose anything simply replacing the DLL module.

Pete
