pontiac51 Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 The following error occured to me lately when using the Cheyenne: The GPS would not show any distances or directions to waypoints in the flightplan. Also the navlog page on the WX would show 0.0nm to every waypoint. In addition the WX would not show anything, not even the test screen. So, at first i thought there may be an corrupted installation and reinstalled the plane. But in conclusion FSUIPC (v3.90) was found to be the reason. Since i just recently registered, it must have been since then, but i only just this weekend got the cheyenne out of the hangar after a long time. Now to fix the problem i removed the registration from FSUIPC temporarily and everything works again. Of course, afterwards i dont have any weather options or joystick buttons or joystick axes. So i would very much appreciate a different solution.

Either you purchased it legitimately, but AFTER the current date set in your PC, making it look invalid, or you obtained it from an illegal source, a pirate key generator. So, check the PC's system date. Correct it if wrong. If it was okay, and you know you purchased the FSUIPC key legitimately, please ZIP up your KEY file and send any other proof of purchase you have, to petedowson@btconnect.com, and I will check it here. pontiac51 Posted March 17, 2009 Author Report Posted March 17, 2009 I have to apologize in all ways possible. A few days ago i used the old Flightsim Manager (ranainside) and because its such an old program i had to turn my computers clock back to 2005 to get it to run. And then i forgot about it. I am deeply sorry for the troubles, this is most painfull for me, cause im a programer myself and often giggle about that damn stupid users, that cant get their stuff right. Guess im one of them now. Again sorry for bothering and thx for pointing me right straight away!
