KnutJarle Posted May 31, 2009 Report Posted May 31, 2009 There seems to be something wrong with offset 2EF8, center of gravity. I'm getting some strange results. In version 4.50 the value is around 22-25, but in version 4.518 its around 0.2-0.3 I first saw the problem a few weeks ago in a version older than 4.518. Knut
Pete Dowson Posted May 31, 2009 Report Posted May 31, 2009 There seems to be something wrong with offset 2EF8, center of gravity. I'm getting some strange results. In version 4.50 the value is around 22-25, but in version 4.518 its around 0.2-0.3 I first saw the problem a few weeks ago in a version older than 4.518. The value was incorrect before -- as was kindly pointed out by another user. The value was always in the range 0-1 before FSX, but i made a mistake in FSUIPC4 which was not corrected until recently. This correction is actually documented in the list of changes in the Updates Announcement, as follows: 13.[FSUIPC4 only] The CG offsets 2EF8 to 2F18, inclusive, are all now fractional instead of percentages, for compatibility with FSUIPC3 (i.e. FS9, FS2002 and FS2000). To obtain a percentage, multiply by 100. Please do browse the list of changes when downloading an update. The main purpose of FSUIPC is to maintain compatibility with previous versions -- that's why I developed it in the first place, in FS98 days. Regards Pete
