FS9 Slow loading after fsuipc update

Hi Guys -

I use the PMDG 747 which installs fsuipc version 3.5 by default.

Just now, i downloaded the latest version, 3.9, and installed it as per the instructions.

Since the update, FS9 takes a good 2 minutes longer to load. Once it does, i can see that fsuipc 3.9 is active.

While i was using 3.5, loading times were pretty much instant in comparison. If i downgrade to version 3.5, the loading time is nice and fast again. So the new version has to be the problem.

If it helps, here are my PC specs:

Intel Core2Duo 3.2Ghz, 4GB RAM, nVidia 8600GT

Iv worked out the problem.

The first time its run, it asks for internet access. (My firewall popped up).

I granted that access, and its good.

I guess it verifies that the installation is legally registered (more than fair enough), and once it calls home once, it doesnt seem to need to again.

I don't know what program is after Internet access, but it certainly isn't FSUIPC or anything else of mine!
