aburley Posted June 23, 2009 Report Share Posted June 23, 2009 Hi Guys - I use the PMDG 747 which installs fsuipc version 3.5 by default. Just now, i downloaded the latest version, 3.9, and installed it as per the instructions. Since the update, FS9 takes a good 2 minutes longer to load. Once it does, i can see that fsuipc 3.9 is active. While i was using 3.5, loading times were pretty much instant in comparison. If i downgrade to version 3.5, the loading time is nice and fast again. So the new version has to be the problem. If it helps, here are my PC specs: Intel Core2Duo 3.2Ghz, 4GB RAM, nVidia 8600GT Thank you for your help. I granted that access, and its good. I guess it verifies that the installation is legally registered (more than fair enough), and once it calls home once, it doesnt seem to need to again.
