Hello Pete!

I have a configuration as follows:

Flight simulator PC (FS_Server):

Win XP

FS9

FSUIPC v3.82

Wide FS v6.75

Client PC(SIMAVIONICS):

Win Vista

Wide Client v6.75

When trying to connect the client to the server, I get the following error log:

FSUIPC v3.82

You are using an old unsupported version of FSUIPC. Please update it if you want any support. Please browse in the Announcements above from time to time, and always before asking for help.

This:

749 Trying TCP/IP host "FS_SERVER" port 8002 ...

749Okay, IP Address = 192.168.1.1

2044 Error on client pre-Connection Select() [Error=10061] Connection refused

indicates a likely firewall problem on the server preventing access by WideClient. You need to take down the firewall or allow the WideClient port (8002 by default) through.

I have also a Win XP client in the network. This client connects OK to the server.

A Wideclient client? In that case maybe the firewall on the failing client is stopping things. Either way it is certainly a networking problem. the message "Connection refused" is from Windows.

Regards

Pete
