davidmadrono
First of all I would like to apologize just in case this question has been answered anyplace before but I've not been able to find it. It is simple. I have the registered versions of FSUIPC 3.81 and WideFS 6.75. After realizing there are newewr versions FSUIPC 3.93 and WideFS 6.78 (for FS9), I wonder if it makes sense to move over them or not and if I can move over them with the resgistered keys I do have or I would have to buy new ones. Just in case I could use the same ones, would I have to configure everything which I have configured again or when installing the new versions they would keep my current settings as they are? Thanks

Your registrations are valid forever, for all version of FSUIPC3 and WideFS6 -- but not for FSUIPC4 / WideFS7 (the FSX versions). 2. I only ever support current versions, so if you want continued support you do need to upgrade. 3. You do not need to reconfigure anything. Don't delete anything. Just run the installer. All of your settings will remain intact and you don't need to re-register (you only need to do that if you move PCs or reinstall FS or Windows). 4. There are usually even later versions in the "Updates & Goodies" Announcement at the top of this Forum. When there are there will be a list of the changes, so you can see if you should use them. I used to make a full new User Release every month or so, for many years. These days I make one every 3 to 6 months but make many smaller interim increments with new facilities and bug corrections and release them here without revised documentation, only a note of the changes. It is always worthwhile scanning the Announcements here from time to time. Regards Pete
davidmadrono
Thank you very much Pete. I am going to update my FSUIPC & WideFs versions to the latest ones. By the way. Congratulations!! My experience with both tools since more than one year ago cannot be better. David
