paul-henri Posted December 19, 2009 Report Posted December 19, 2009 Hello, I'm using a registered version of FSUIPC and WideFS. To connect the physical IO of our simulateur, i have an adapted board which has a Ethernet 100 interface. I wonder if it would be possible to directly connect this board to WideFS through Ethernet interface without using SIOC ? For this I probably need the client protocol to connect WideFS server, but I don't know if this is something that can be given. Can someone answer me ? Regards. Paul-Henri

No, you don't really want to interface to WideServer -- the protocol is undocumented and very specifically aimed at the way wideClient works. I recommend you use the Lua plug-ins facility -- the Luasockets package is fully supported in the recent updates to FSUIPC (see the Updates and Other Goodies Announcement above). There is an example pair of Lua plug-ins which link two copies of FS together. I'm sure you'll find it easier to link your interface that way. Regards Pete
