Pete Dowson Posted December 28, 2009 Report Posted December 28, 2009 I had installed the latest version of fsuipc and now FS9 don't start up. I get a message that the fsuipc.dll version is not good. What version number is this "latest"? That is a pretty meaningless way of identifying it I'm afraid. Are you sure it isn't corrupted? Does its signature check out correctly -- right-click, Properties, Signature (there are instructions in the documentation). What can i do. I had delete the new version and i installed the old version again, but FS9 won't start up. Sounds like you've told windows or FS that you don't trust software from simFlight. The older versions, signed "Peter L. Dowson" have an expired signature so they shouldn't work in any case. Regards Pete
erge Posted December 28, 2009 Author Report Posted December 28, 2009 Hello Peter, I had re-placed the old version 3.8.2.0.The digitale sign seems ok (according the properties, but till 16 july 2008). I don't now if this is wrong. But FS9 don't startup yet. And if i change the fsuipc version for an new one than FS9 dont't start up also. regards erge

And if i change the fsuipc version for an new one than FS9 dont't start up also. What "new one" are you trying? I'm sorry, but it really isn't any use at all making reports without version numbers. I could also do with an explanation of exactly what you mean by "FS9 dont't start up". Regards Pete
erge Posted December 29, 2009 Author Report Posted December 29, 2009 Peter, When i installed your latest version of FSUIPC (3.9.3.0) I had cleared my whole modulesmap. And i think FS was missing some old files like fsui.dll. When i replaced these files my FS9 started propperly. But thanks for your support. Regards Ruud (erge).
Pete Dowson Posted December 29, 2009 Report Posted December 29, 2009 When i installed your latest version of FSUIPC (3.9.3.0) I had cleared my whole modulesmap. Ouch. Not a good idea, and never needed for any FSUIPC update. And i think FS was missing some old files like fsui.dll. Rightit won't start without that -- "FSUI" is "Flight sim User Interface"! Regards Pete
