gwplotts Posted June 13, 2010 Report Posted June 13, 2010 Is there an FSUIPC command to operate these levers?
Pete Dowson Posted June 13, 2010 Report Posted June 13, 2010 Is there an FSUIPC command to operate these levers?] You don't need an FSUIPC command. Those are the idle/cut off switches, operating the fuel valves for the engines. They are controlled by FS controls "MixtureN Lean" (cutoff) and "MixtureN Rich" (idle) where N is the engine number (or omit for generic all-engine controls -- the same ones assigned by default to the Ctrl+Shift+F1 and Ctrl+Shift+F4 keys I think). gwplotts Posted June 13, 2010 Author Report Posted June 13, 2010 I never would have thought of those being the commands. Thanks very much. Jerry ======= See my flight deck here: http://myflightdeck.weebly.com/
Pete Dowson Posted June 13, 2010 Report Posted June 13, 2010 I never would have thought of those being the commands. Well I think they are documented as such in the FS help or knee boards, or some such place, and they are logically correct because it is the mixture control which controls fuel supply to the engines both on jets and Props. It is just that on jets it's an on-off thing rather than a continuous adjustment. Regards Pete
