fabiosko Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 Hi, I have problem continuous event with my FSX. I cannot operate the cargo doors trough SHIFT+E select 1-4. I wanted to use "time allowed to engine/door select" set now at 3 sec but it does not work. I assigned a button then to FS door control with parameter "2" Why is the first option not working? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advance. Ciao Fabio

I wanted to use "time allowed to engine/door select" set now at 3 sec but it does not work. 3 seconds is rather a long time. I assigned a button then to FS door control with parameter "2" That's a far better solution normally. Why is the first option not working? Am I doing something wrong? I don't know. That isn't an FSUIPC function, but an FS one. Possibly Shift+E or the numbers 1-4 have been reassigned, either in FS or FSUIPC? I can't think of any other reason. Regards Pete

I am using EZDOK Camera which use (TN) 1, 2, 3, 4. I tried not to load it, eliminating trough entry in exe.xlm, but problem persists... Ciao Fabio Edited December 16, 2010 by fabiosko
Pete Dowson Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 They have not been reassigned. I am using EZDOK Camera which use (TN) 1, 2, 3, 4. I tried not to load it, eliminating trough entry in exe.xlm, but problem persists... Maybe it is because of something EZDOK did to the default assignments? The 1, 2, 3 and 4 keys are normally assigned to "SELECT 1, SELECT 2 ... etc. It is those assignments which the FS facility needs. If they keys are now unassigned, or assigned differently, it would explain the problem. But I don't understand your concern. Surely it doesn't matter because you have the solution, the one you explained? Pete
