FSUIPC 4.60 on Vista

I have never played FSX, but have been asked to help install the F/A-18 Superbug Add-on. During installation I am getting this error:

The VRS Superbug requires FSUIPC 4(freeware version) for FSX. FSUIPC 4 was not found in the selected
install location. FSUIPC 4 can be downloaded from [url="http://www.schirati.com/dowson.html"]http://www.schirati.com/dowson.html[/url]. Please be you have installed FSUIPC, 
and confirmed it is operating by pressing ALT and seeing it in the "Addons" menu in flight.

   Installed "Lua License.pdf" okay
   Installed "Lua Plugins for VRInsight Devices.pdf" okay

FSUIPC4.DLL installed and signature checked out okay!
Deleted GlobalSign Root fix program ... no longer relevant

I am stumped. It says it can't find the FSX.CFG file, yet says the FSUIPC4.DLL installed okay. Thanks in advance for the help.

That's the Install log, not the run-time log. Is there an FSUIPC4.LOG file? Did it generate an FSUIPC4.INI file? Is there, in FSX, when ready to fly, an "AddOns" menu with FSUIPC listed in it?

I am stumped. It says it can't find the FSX.CFG file, yet says the FSUIPC4.DLL installed okay.

It certainly did not say it couldn't find FSX.CFG. What do you think this line means?

Found FSX.CFG in "C:\Users\geicko\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\FSX.CFG"

It installed fine. Now we need to know if it is is running okay. Hence my questions above.
