Registration problem FSUIPC 3.99

Recommended Posts

I purchase a key yesterday and attempted to register but I have had no success.

I have tried multiple time using the install, each time the installer says success, but when I start FS9.1 and go to FSUIPC it show the unregistered version?

As I told someone else in a thread near here, I'm wondering if Windows isn't giving the Install_FSUIPC.EXE program the normal elevated privileges it accords installers. Can you re-run the Installer but this time right-click on it and select "Run as Administrator", and re-register once more? Let me know, please. This is rather worrying. I'm suspicious that there is some security setting or maybe a Windows update which causes programs with "install" in their names to no longer be accorded their needed privileges.

NOTE: I just heard via email from one user with the exact same problem that this indeed did fix the issue. I will be amending the instructions once again.

Regards

Pete

INSTALLATION FOR FS9:

Checking if there's already a version of FSUIPC installed in:

E:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Modules\FSUIPC.DLL

... Version 3.990 found.

Okay -- installed FSUIPC into "E:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Modules\FSUIPC.DLL"

"Modules\FSUIPC Documents" folder already exists.

Now installing additional files into the "Modules\FSUIPC Documents" folder:

Installed "List of FS2004 controls.pdf" okay

Installed "FSUIPC Lua Plug-Ins.pdf" okay

Installed "Lua License.pdf" okay

Installed "Lua Plugins for VRInsight Devices.pdf" okay

Installed "Example LUA plugins.zip" okay

Installed "SIMSAMURAI+FSUIPC+TUTORIAL.pdf" okay

FSUIPC.DLL installed and signature checked out okay!

Deleted GlobalSign Root fix program ... no longer relevant

===========================================================

All installer tasks completed okay!

Registration check for FSUIPC was successful! (result code 00)
