nrcapes Posted May 4, 2011 Report Posted May 4, 2011 I have registered versions of FSUIPC for both FS9 and FSX. I really like the Autosave feature of FSUIPC 4.57 for FSX but there doesn't seem to be a corresponding feature in the manual for FSUIPC 3.99 for FS9. Is there another add-on tnat implements this through FSUIPC 3.99? thanks!

It's available along with all my stuff on the http://www.schiratti.com/dowson page. Regards Pete

Regards Pete I have found that autosave.dll interferes with the Save/Load feature of Radar Contact v4 if timed files are used. RC4 Save cannot save an .rcd file because autosave.dll manages these files. A workaround is to change autosave.cfg to save only a My Restart file. Then the RC4 Save/Load works.

I've always used RC4 with timed AutoSaves without any problem. Perhaps you have the interval set too tightly, preventing a successful save for RC? (It calls the same routines in FSUIPC as AutoSave). I have mine set to 3 minute intervals, with a cycle of 10 saved files max, thus allowing a restart for anything in the last 30 minutes. Regards Pete
