Sorry i cannot find a definitive answer on the site. Put many of the settings into fsuipc and verified that they all worked. Throttles, trim, ailerons, reversers etc. so was satisfied that all was ok. Closed the sim and re booted and back into Level-d 767. There was the problem again, nothing was saved or worked, so had to re tick the box to use the default Microsoft FSX settings. Have had several re tries but still it will not save. Am I missing something or forgetting some vital operation to save the settings. Hope someone can help. Thanks. Lee

The FSUIPC settings are saved in a file called FSUIPC4.INI, and nothing changes them unless ou go back into the options and change the settings.

Maybe ou are getting miced up with so aircraft-specific or profile settings and generic settings. Maybe the INI file is corrupted, or somehow you have it marked "read only"?

Please tell me the actual version number of FSUIPC4 -- this information is always needed. If it isn't at least 4.70 you need to update first. If it is already 4.70 or later you might want to try the very latest update from the Download Links subforum.

Then show me both your FSUIPC4.LOG file and the FSUIPC4.INI file. You can paste them into a message here. Make sure you close FSX first.

Regards

Pete
