Moving the aircraft - how to?

I try to move the aircraft by changing the lat/lon values at offset 0x0560 but nothing happens.

I'm using FSX with FSUIPC v4.60 and Visual Basic 6.

Reading values and altering other values seems to work, i.e. time

Is there any special procedure to change the aircraft position? Does it work only in 'slew' mode?

I'm sorry but I cannot possibly support such an old version. The earliest supported version is 4.70 and the current release is 4.742.

No, in FSX you can move it by Lat, Lon, Alt, Heading, Pitch and Bank, and even airspeed (not possible before FSX). Use logging to check your work. But please get up to date first.
