ksariaslan Posted January 16, 2012 Report Posted January 16, 2012 Unlike others, i have no problem with connection. Everything works smoothly but i have some questions about add ons. I'm planing to run FS commander, Radar Contact 4, Plan-G and Active Sky Evolution on LAN pc. My question is should i install those add ons to client PC or my main PC (FSX installed one)? And even i added; Run1=C:\FSX\rcv4\rcv4.exe (I installed RC4 to client PC) as sample but i didnt worked. Dunno how it s gonna work.

Dunno how it s gonna work. ? Is RC4 in the most unlikely place as C:\FSX\RC4 ? ? Is this Run line in the [user] section of the WideClient.INI file? You should in any case use RunReady, not Run, as RCV4 wants FS running and ready to fly. ASE uses Simconnect with FSX, not FSUIPC/WideFS. Why do you say "Dunno how it s gonna work"? Pete
ksariaslan Posted January 16, 2012 Author Report Posted January 16, 2012 ? Is RC4 in the most unlikely place as C:\FSX\RC4 ? - I created folder called FSX in my 2nd PC thn installed RC4 to there. (But i m not sure should i install add ons to 2nd pc or 1st one. ? Is this Run line in the [user] section of the WideClient.INI file? - Yup it s the Run line in the [user] section of the WideClient.INI file. (I wrote that to give a try) You should in any case use RunReady, not Run, as RCV4 wants FS running and ready to fly. - First i run FS @ my main PC thn start wideclient on my 2nd pc. They are getting connected. But i didnt able to run with that run command ASE uses Simconnect with FSX, not FSUIPC/WideFS. -I havent tried ASE i just planing to so seems it s ok .
Pete Dowson Posted January 16, 2012 Report Posted January 16, 2012 - I created folder called FSX in my 2nd PC thn installed RC4 to there. Oh, right. Confusing! (But i m not sure should i install add ons to 2nd pc or 1st one. You install them where you want them to run. First i run FS @ my main PC thn start wideclient on my 2nd pc. Still best to use RunReady. They are getting connected. But i didnt able to run with that run command The path must be wrong, then. Show me the actual Wideclient.INI file AND the WideClient.log file. Regards Pete
