Miracle Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 Hi, I'm new to FSUIPC but i have good network skills. I try to eval "It's your plane" on a networked PC. Computer 1 : FSX and FSUIPC 4.80 Computer 3 : WideFSclient 6.94 and IYP. Detail : I dont register FSUIPC and WideFS. Launching FSX on the Computer 1, i can see the FSUIPC module in FSX. Lauching the WideFS client on computer 2 : It can't connect. ********* WideClient Log [version 6.94] Class=FS98MAIN ********* Date (dmy): 04/03/12, Time 16:34:40.199: Client name is WIDE_FSX 250 Attempting to connect now 250 LUA: "C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\temp\WideFS\Initial.LUA": not found 469 Trying TCP/IP host "home-cinema" port 8002 ... 469 ... Okay, IP Address = 192.168.0.107 1563 Error on client pre-Connection Select() [Error=10061] Connection refused 1563 Ready to try connection again I use a port scanner to see if there is a server on port 8002 and it seem that this port don't respond. Of course, firewall is disabled on the tow computer and are in the same Workgroup. I successfully ping and share folders between the tow computer. There is something i miss to be able to run the server ? Cheer. Cedric.
Pete Dowson Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 Computer 1 : FSX and FSUIPC 4.80 Computer 3 : WideFSclient 6.94 and IYP. Detail : I dont register FSUIPC and WideFS. WideFS will not operate without registration. After registering WideFS you just need to enable the Server in the FSUIPC options dialogue. Evidently you've not looked at the FSUIPC option dialogue else you would have seen that you needed to register WideFS. Pete
Miracle Posted March 4, 2012 Author Report Posted March 4, 2012 Thanks for the answer. I will register WideFS immediatly. :)
