Ori Ohevia Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 Hello, Is it possible to communicate NGX using the freeware FSUIPC and the offsets listed in the "Offset mapping for PMDG 737NGX.pdf" I am using a software which works with regular offsets but doesn't work with PMDG's If i can use those offsets, what could have be the reason? Thank you for helping

The offsets provide information -- read-outs -- for whatever purposes you may have. They are read-only, as it says To control NGX functions you use the events they list in the SDK. You can send events via offset 3110 if you wish to use offsets rather than assigned controls.. Regards Pete
bahotolga Posted November 12, 2012 Report Posted November 12, 2012 Hello sir. I have 6 landing gear indicator and flaps gauge and is there anyway to work this with ngx. I dont know c++ so sdk is not a solution for me. Or let me ask it like this which fsuipc offsets are compatible with ngx. BTW i only want to make read outs.
Pete Dowson Posted November 12, 2012 Report Posted November 12, 2012 I have 6 landing gear indicator and flaps gauge and is there anyway to work this with ngx. I dont know c++ so sdk is not a solution for me. So how are you driving your indicators and gauges? There must be some software to handle them. If you aren't programming them, who is? Or let me ask it like this which fsuipc offsets are compatible with ngx.BTW i only want to make read outs. The PMDG 737NGX read-outs are all mapped to FSUIPC offsets exactly as listed in the document supplied -- please see your FSUIPC Documents folder, in your FSX Modules folder. Pete
