I assume you mean that when you select FSUIPC from the Add ONs menu the FSUIPC settings dialogue does not appear? (The FS screen always goes black in any case -- that is an FSX function).

This problem is ALWAYS a video Driver fault. Possibly you are using the default Windows 7 drivers for your video card instead of downloading and installing the latest for your specific card? The default driver is no good.

The only other alternative is to switch FSX to Windowed mode, which will give no such problem (ALT + Enter toggles between full screen and Windowed mode).

Please note that you MUST update your old FSUIPC installation if you want furthere support. The current version is 4.827.

Hi Pete

Yes, I select from the adon and I have the latest driver for 6970 Raedon and updated FSUIPC ver.4.827 and run windowed mode but with the same problem.

Could it be Eyefinity on my 3 monitors, or anything in FSX.

I've tried the 3D virtual cockpit and 2D instrument panel but with the same problem. I can enter commands but do not use Mause Marko

Thank you in advance

Sincerely Kim

The non-appearance of the dialogue window can only be a video driver problem, but I've never ever had any report of it not appearing in Windowed mode. That makes no sense at all, because it is a standard Windows dialogue. Are you sure it isn't getting hidden behind the FS window? I don't know how it could because it will have the keyboard focus -- it is a modal dialogue, which means everything else stops. How are you continuing, pressing ESCape?

I've tried the 3D virtual cockpit and 2D instrument panel but with the same problem.

It has nothing whatsoever to do with any FS modes or screens. The options dialogue is just a standard straight-forward Windows dialogue. It isn't FSUIPC or FS code, it is Windows code.

Now THAT confuses me. What "commands" are you entering and where? It sounds like you are talking about something different. The FSUIPC options dialogue has tabs, selections, and drop-down lists. No "commands" as such. See the pictures of it in the User Guide.

BTW soon I am departing on holiday, not back here till May 15th.
