FunktasticLucky Posted June 1, 2012 Report Posted June 1, 2012 Hello, I have been a long time user of FSUIPC and thank you for all the hard work you've put in to this. So here's my problem that has popped up, I haven't played FSX in a while and I just recently got a Warthog HOTAS so I don't know if it's a probelm with just this version or not. But I fire up FSX and my keyboard doesn't seem to work. I have noticed that if I press the shift key the 2d panel keeps appearing and disappearing extremely quick like I'm pressing shift+1 really quickly. same if I hold the ctrl key. I can also click ont he desktop and it's the same thing. I clicked on a folder name and it just repeated the "1" key over and over again like it's being held down. If I unplug the throttle from the USB port it stops. I can uninstall FSUIPC and it will stop and the throttle works just fine. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue?

Never heard of anything like that. Sounds like your HOTAS is programmed to send keystrokes and it is sending spurious signals all the time. If it is programmed in FSUIPC just rename or delete the FSUIPC INI file so nothing is preogrammed in FSUIPC. If that fixes it then you need to investigate what's gone wrong with the control. Pete
FunktasticLucky Posted June 1, 2012 Author Report Posted June 1, 2012 Pete thank you so much. I removed FSUIPC and deleted any traces and reinstalled and the problem is gone. I think the ini file had something in it. This installation is 4 years old easy. my FSX folder has been moved to 3 different computers now haha. Problem solved and all is well now. Thank you so much.
