jberinge Posted June 24, 2012 Report Posted June 24, 2012 Hi all, For those of you interested I have coded up an LUA plugin using FSUIPC that allows you to use OzRunways with FSX. The OzRunways app is great in that it is an EFB with moving maps and planning features. The maps include all the current VNC, VTC, high/low charts, WACs etc. It has the current ERSA and DAPS. Now you can use this with FSX. Great for use in VFR flights to show the airspace boundaries, VFR routes, etc. There are some example screenshots in the documentation attached. Code reads FSUIPC offsets and writes to UDP port 49002 in format of Xplane data packet. This makes OzRunways think it is connected to XPlane but really its FSX. To install extract the file into ..... /Microsoft Games/Microsoft Flight Simulator X/Modules/ Read the documentation in the relevant folder. Version 1.1 version but should work fine. If you have any feedback on the plugin or documentation let me know. DOWNLOAD http://vatpac.org/fo...6088#post106088 or check the OzRunways site. OzRunways EFB App for iPhone and Ipad (http://www.ozrunways.com/site/) Code for LUA attached Cheers Jason FSXOzplug.txt
Lizzardair Posted August 21, 2012 Report Posted August 21, 2012 Just a quick question, will this work with unregisted version of FSUIPC. I have ozRunways for real time flying and son has FSX
Pete Dowson Posted August 24, 2012 Report Posted August 24, 2012 Just a quick question, will this work with unregisted version of FSUIPC. No. Running Lua plug-ins under FSUIPC is one of the bigger registration benefits. Regards Pete
