Pete Dowson Posted October 1, 2012 Report Posted October 1, 2012 I also noticed that it was looking for the fsx.cfg file in the wrong place and I have no idea how to steer it to the right spot. No, it found it okay, look: Found FSX.CFG in "C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\Microsoft\FSX\FSX.CFG" You seem to have called yourself "User". Try installing FSX SP2 update. You should get FSX up to date (as far as it went!). Pete
