Frank Post Posted August 30, 2003 Report Posted August 30, 2003 Hi guys, I am running FS2004 with SB (incl the extra files needed) and FSUIPC 3.04 for which i have a licence. When connecting with IVAO all goes well except that IVAO send me an automated message that I have to connect FSUIPC with Squawkbox otherwise other people cannot see my plane. For that they give a name and a public key to put in FSUIPC. My question is: where do I put in that key in FSUIPC ? Of course my own name and key are already in. Putting the key in the WideFS space does not work. So what do I need to do ?? Frank Post frankpost@planet.nl
Pete Dowson Posted August 30, 2003 Report Posted August 30, 2003 You do not need any access keys for any application whatsoever if you have paid for a full user copy of FSUIPC. Just ignore that. If you are using Squawkbox with FS2004, then I think the problem is simply that Squawkbox is not yet ready for FS2004 -- the multiplayer protocol is different -- I think there's another package that is needed to complete that part of the interface. I am not an SB user, but I'm sure someone else will jump in here to help on this. Regards, Pete
