weebso Posted November 17, 2012 Report Posted November 17, 2012 HI I've been running wide fs for sometime now with no problems whatsoever. I have just updated to FSUIPC 4.853 and now wide fs doesnt work. I have the latest wide fs client and apart from installing fsuipc on my fsx computer i havent changed any settings. Both are registered versions. This is the wide client log. ********* WideClient Log [version 6.987] Class=FS98MAIN ********* Date (dmy): 17/11/12, Time 18:27:09.380: Client name is MARKSAM-HP 124 LUA: "C:\Users\MarkSam\Desktop\Initial.LUA": not found 187 Attempting to connect now 187 Trying to locate server: Need details from Server Broadcast 187 Failed to connect: waiting to try again 2246 Attempting to connect now 6271 ****** End of session performance summary ****** 6271 Total time connected = 0 seconds 6271 Reception maximum: 0 frames/sec, 0 bytes/sec 6271 Transmission maximum: 0 frames/sec, 0 bytes/sec 6271 Max receive buffer = 0, Max send depth = 0, Send frames lost = 0 6271 ********* Log file closed (Buffers: MaxUsed 0, Alloc 0 Freed 0 Refused 0) ********* Any ideas Cheers Mark Weavers
Pete Dowson Posted November 17, 2012 Report Posted November 17, 2012 I've been running wide fs for sometime now with no problems whatsoever. I have just updated to FSUIPC 4.853 and now wide fs doesnt work. Something else has changed then because there's no relationship between the FSUIPC version and WideFS functioning. This is the wide client log. That's only half the story. Where's the WideServer.log from the FS Modules folder? Perhaps, since you think it is something to do with FSUIPC, you should also find and post the FSUIPC4.LOG? 187 Trying to locate server: Need details from Server Broadcast This indicates that no broadcasts from the Server are being seen. Have you referred to the WideFs documentation? Please check the network configuring section. Regards Pete
