aburley
Hi Guys, real quick question here: When i press Fly Now and FSX starts, can i set FSUIPC to fire a keyboard command automatically everytime? There are a couple of things i need to do, but for example, pressing the Alt key for 2 seconds will hide the FSX menu at the top of the screen. How would this be done in FSUIPC? Thanks! :) Adrian
Pete Dowson
Apologies for the delay in replying. As announced, I have been away on holidays. When i press Fly Now and FSX starts, can i set FSUIPC to fire a keyboard command automatically everytime? Check the "InitialButton" parameter described in the Advanced User's guide. You can then have a macro instigated by that button which sends your keystrokes. There are a couple of things i need to do, but for example, pressing the Alt key for 2 seconds will hide the FSX menu at the top of the screen. If you want to do timed events like that you'll need to have a Lua plug-in (ipcReady.lua is run when FSUIPC is ready to fly). Pete
