Pete Dowson Posted January 14, 2013 Report Posted January 14, 2013 now while trying to install Fsuipc4 (must have done this 50 times in fsx),I enter the registration details which it accepts, enter P3D to find Fsuipc is unregistered.I also have a registration for Widefs so tried to register both, that also fails. Seems that the FSUIPC4.KEY file, containing your registration, didn't get installed to the correct Prepar3D Modules folder. The most relevane file to show me is not the FSUIPC log but the Installer's log instead, please. One or two folks have reported that re-running the installer and re-registering fixed siimilar issues, so I would guess it's to do with some timimg problems in Windows enabling access permissions. Try searching from FSUIPC4.KEY. I'd like to know where it got to. ps error i can see is it says win 7..i'm using win 8 Win8 isn't officially supported yet. I've really no way of developing for it at present. Maybe later in the year. There seems to be quite a few problems with it as yet, like hardware controllers being forgotten. Regards Pete
steve-0 Posted January 14, 2013 Author Report Posted January 14, 2013 hi peter i've gone back to win 7 and it installed Fsuipc and worked straight away(knew it would)didn't like win 8 so it's bye bye to it until it starts to be supported more. thanks steve
