DerStig Posted January 13, 2013 Report Posted January 13, 2013 I have had FSUIPC for a long time - I'd say around 1.5-2 years. During this time, I have had absolutely no issues, it worked flawlessly. Until about 5 minutes ago, when, out of nowhere, I started getting the infamous DLL error: Name: FSUIPC4 DLL: FS new universal IPC interface Version: 4.853 Company: Peter L. Dowson File: Modules\FSUIPC4.dll Unfortunately, I read the sticky and FAQ, and no, clicking Yes and expecting it to work randomly is not a solution. I have been sitting here clicking on Yes for 2.5+ hours, and it hasn't worked and most likely it will not work. While I can understand the SimConnect API's problem (I'm a software architect myself, so I can relate), I'm puzzled as to why this only happens with FSUIPC and not with any other add-on I use (PMDG MD-11, NGX, REX, FSCopilot, etc). I tried disabling all of those addons and having only FSUIPC in my dll.xml, and it didn't help. I'm desperate because FSUIPC is "the" only way for me to get my controls to work in Windows 8, without FSUIPC, I cannot fly in FSX. Please help - I'll be more than happy to debug this with you.

Is it a crash reported by Windows, and if so what is the error number and offset? does a log get generated and if so please show it? Regards Pete
