Borger Posted April 8, 2013 Report Posted April 8, 2013 Hi, when I change from PDGM to Prosim737 something strange happened. First of all I had to do all the calibration onde more. Let me also tell you that I am uting a Leo Bodnar card. When i go into Axis assigment, I move the yoke (allieron) from right to left and see that the change is ok, from -16383 to +16383. So far so good, but when I go to joystick calibration there is no change. The value stays at -16383. Using elevator, is ok. Its only allieron which I cant calibrate. Any idea? Thanks and best regards from Norway

Since FSUIPC is not aware of those in any way, I'm afraid I can't help there. Let me also tell you that I am uting a Leo Bodnar card. Sorry, there's not enough information. What version of FS? What version of FSUIPC? What are you assigning it to, exactly? Note that versions before 4.86 (for FSX and later) and 3.999z (for FS9 and before) are not supported any more. Please update if your version is older. Pete

I am assuming (probably wrongly) that this minor upgrade will not require me to purchase any update. I downloaded 4.86 and do have my original key. Can I go and install 4.86 with no charge?
Florida Posted April 9, 2013 Report Posted April 9, 2013 Follow-up on previous question: I have re-programmed several functions on my Saitek X52 system using FSUIPC. If I update my app, do I have to back up my fsuipc.ini first, or lose the changes I alkready have made?

Yes, of course. In fact you are expected to keep up to date, especially if you want any support. The purchase covers FSUIPC4 forever. If I update my app, do I have to back up my fsuipc.ini first, or lose the changes I alkready have made? No. the installer merely updates the program and documentation. no changes are made to any settings. Pete
