Hello Pete,

I just updated my version of FSUIPC to 3.999z. Happily, all went without a hitch.

It occurred to me that it would be an interesting statistical exercise if you were to collate and publish the actual number or ratio of the FS9 to FSX versions updated.

I would think that virtually every working version of either sim is using your interface.

I for one would love to know how many people, like me, are soldiering on with FS9 although we have FSX tucked up in its case in the wardrobe!

All the best from one Staffordshire lad to another.

SimMarket could say how many of each they've sold registrations for, but many FSUIPC users are not puchasers. FSUIPC has no on-line link to upload usage information.

In terms of actual add-on sales (not just of FSUIPC but all things FS-wise) I'm pretty sure FSX overtook FS9 a few years back. However, there is certainly a strong FS9 user base, and this saddens many developers because of the need to make two versions of things in order to cover a broad enough base.

Ok Pete,

Just a thought - although PMDG wont contemplate an FS9 version of their 737 NGX which saddens me! I do have the iFly version but I am not sure if its completely compares with the PMDG version.

Regards

John
