There's only one correct way for any user, registered or not. just run the installer. Don't uninstall anything. There is an Installation guide in the ZIP, that tells you what to do. It isn't very long! Running the installer is only a matter of executing the Installer EXE provided, preferably "as administrator", as it tells you.
