Dashcapt Posted July 26, 2013 Report Posted July 26, 2013 Hi Pete I have windows 7 64 running FSX with active sky 2012, pmdg 737, mytraffic 5, fs2crew and a registered FSUIPC 4.905. My system has been stable but I suddenly got a CTD with this error. <Provider Name="Application Error" /> <EventID Qualifiers="0">1000</EventID> <Level>2</Level> <Task>100</Task> <Keywords>0x80000000000000</Keywords> <TimeCreated SystemTime="2013-07-25T18:58:30.000000000Z" /> <EventRecordID>21370</EventRecordID> <Channel>Application</Channel> <Computer></Computer> <Security /> </System> - <EventData> <Data>fsx.exe</Data> <Data>10.0.61472.0</Data> <Data>475e17d3</Data> <Data>unknown</Data> <Data>0.0.0.0</Data> <Data>00000000</Data> <Data>c0000005</Data> <Data>74c8c9f1</Data> <Data>150c</Data> <Data>01ce8902cee1b4a6</Data> <Data>D:\fs\fsx\fsx.exe</Data> <Data>unknown</Data> <Data>3197a19a-f55c-11e2-9624-14dae9041e19</Data> </EventData> </Event> I would be grateful for any help or guidance.

Sorry, but there's nothing there which points to anything related to my software. In fact it doesn't even identify the module of FSX which is involved, so I can only think it's something outside, like a driver crash. You'll need to try to idebntify what it is that has changed, or go through a process of elimination, trying FSX without anything added and gradually add things. Regards Pete
Dashcapt Posted July 26, 2013 Author Report Posted July 26, 2013 Thanks Pete will do as you suggested.
Dashcapt Posted August 17, 2013 Author Report Posted August 17, 2013 Hi Pete Did as us suggested but could not find the issue. After many stable flights I had this issue today which my be related. I have a feeling this is related to mytraffic as I had switched my view to look for traffic on my left just before the fault occurred. Again I would be grateful for any advice. <Provider Name="Application Error" /> <EventID Qualifiers="0">1000</EventID> <Level>2</Level> <Task>100</Task> <Keywords>0x80000000000000</Keywords> <TimeCreated SystemTime="2013-08-17T13:13:52.000000000Z" /> <EventRecordID>22635</EventRecordID> <Channel>Application</Channel> <Computer></Computer> <Security /> </System> - <EventData> <Data>fsx.exe</Data> <Data>10.0.61472.0</Data> <Data>475e17d3</Data> <Data>g3d.dll</Data> <Data>10.0.61472.0</Data> <Data>475e180c</Data> <Data>c0000005</Data> <Data>0003e5f7</Data> <Data>6a0</Data> <Data>01ce9b3f654b8b8f</Data> <Data>D:\fs\fsx\fsx.exe</Data> <Data>D:\fs\fsx\g3d.dll</Data> <Data>dc56b50c-073e-11e3-905b-14dae9041e19

Crashes in G3D.DLL are quite frequently reported over in the FSX Forums on AVSIM. I suggest you look there. The most common one is caught and prevented by FSUIPC4 (recent releases), but there are a lot of others which can occur . As far as I can tell these are almost always due to scenery corruption, possibly only in memory caused by complex graphic needs. I very much doubt that it is anything to do with MyTraffic which I've used with no problems for year, and it most certainly isn't anything to do with FSUIPC. So, i'm sorry, but the CTD forum on AVSIM might be your only recourse for more information. You never know, someone may have had this very crash. Pete
