vipernorway Posted August 24, 2013 Report Posted August 24, 2013 Hi, I'm building a full home built 737 cockpit I have an ace joystick fsuipc 4.91 Prosim Prepar3D My problem is with Joystick, and several people have tried to help me in the Prosim forum..no luck so far. If I disable JOY controllers in Prep... axes will not be detected in FSUIPc If I enable them again in Prep, axex will move in FSUIP and calibration is ok. With Prosim enabled, axex gona again. settings are in Prosim to use FSUIPC(but leave prosim out of this for now, as basic should work first) So my question is, shouldn't fsuipc detect axes when I have disabled the controllers in Prepar3D, what could cause them not to? my .ini file [General] Console=No UpdatedByVersion=4910 History=YJCHOAWQ64GBC5MBK0TER InitDelayDevicesToo=No MouseWheelMove=No MouseWheelTrim=No MouseWheelTrimSpeed=1 JoystickTimeout=20 PollGFTQ6=Yes BlankDisplays=No FixControlAccel=No FixMachSpeedBug=No DeleteVehiclesForAES=Yes AutoScanDevices=Yes VisibilityOptions=No OneCloudLayer=No CloudTurbulence=No CloudIcing=No GenerateCirrus=No SuppressCloudTurbulence=No MaxIce=3 MinIce=-1 UpperWindGusts=No SuppressWindTurbulence=No SuppressWindVariance=No WindTurbulence=No TurbulenceRate=1.0,5.0 TurbulenceDivisor=20,20,40,40 SuppressAllGusts=No MaxSurfaceWind=0 WindLimitLevel=200 WindDiscardLevel=400 WindAjustAltitude=No WindAjustAltitudeBy=2000 SmoothBySimTime=No WindSmoothing=No WindSmoothness=2 WindSmoothAirborneOnly=Yes PressureSmoothness=0 TemperatureSmoothness=0 DisconnTrimForAP=Yes ZeroElevForAPAlt=No ThrottleSyncAll=No WhiteMessages=No ShowPMcontrols=No SpoilerIncrement=512 MagicBattery=Yes RudderSpikeRemoval=No ElevatorSpikeRemoval=No AileronSpikeRemoval=No ReversedElevatorTrim=No ClockSync=No ClockSyncMins=5 ClearWeatherDynamics=No OwnWeatherChanges=No TimeForSelect=4 LoadFlightMenu=No LoadPlanMenu=No PauseAfterCrash=No BrakeReleaseThreshold=75 SaveDataWithFlights=Yes ZapSound=firework ShortAircraftNameOk=No UseProfiles=Yes EnableMouseLook=No AxesWrongRange=No TCASid=Flight TCASrange=40 AxisCalibration=No DirectAxesToCalibs=No ShowMultilineWindow=Yes SuppressSingleline=No SuppressMultilineFS=No AxisIntercepts=No DontResetAxes=No InitDelay=0 GetNearestAirports=No OOMcheck=Yes WeatherReadFactor=2 WeatherRewriteSeconds=1 CustomWeatherModify=No SimConnectStallTime=1 InitialStallTime=10 NormalStallTime=1 LuaRerunDelay=66 UseSystemTime=No UseMidMouseBtn=Yes FSVersionUsed="Lockheed Martin® Prepar3D®",1.4.4747.0 SimConnectUsed=1.4.0.0 [JoyNames] AutoAssignLetters=No 1=USBAXESV2.0 1.GUID={3418CD10-57F9-11E2-8001-444553540000} 2=737YOKE-LE by ACE 2.GUID={9DFA8C50-B4FB-11E2-8004-444553540000} [buttons] ButtonRepeat=20,10 [AutoSave] Next=1 Interval=60 Files=10 SaveOnGround=No AutoSaveEnabled=No [GPSout] GPSoutEnabled=No [GPSout2] GPSoutEnabled=No [WideServer] WideFSenabled=Yes [sounds] Path=F:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D\Sound\ Device1=Primary Sound Driver Device2=Speakers (Creative SB X-Fi) Device3=SPDIF Out (Creative SB X-Fi) Device4=Realtek Digital Output (Realtek High Definition Audio) Device5=Realtek Digital Output(Optical) (Realtek High Definition Audio) [JoystickCalibration] AllowSuppressForPFCquad=Yes ExcludeThrottleSet=Yes ExcludeMixtureSet=Yes ExcludePropPitchSet=Yes SepRevsJetsOnly=No ApplyHeloTrim=No UseAxisControlsForNRZ=No FlapsSetControl=0 FlapDetents=No ReverserControl=66292 Reverser1Control=66422 Reverser2Control=66425 Reverser3Control=66428 Reverser4Control=66431 MaxThrottleForReverser=256 AileronTrimControl=66731 RudderTrimControl=66732 CowlFlaps1Control=66162 CowlFlaps2Control=66163 CowlFlaps3Control=66164 CowlFlaps4Control=66165 SteeringTillerControl=0 MaxSteerSpeed=60 Aileron=-16380,0,783,16380 Elevator=-16383,-175,512,12813 [Profile.737] 1=Jetstream-737 [JoystickCalibration.737] AllowSuppressForPFCquad=Yes ExcludeThrottleSet=Yes ExcludeMixtureSet=Yes ExcludePropPitchSet=Yes SepRevsJetsOnly=No ApplyHeloTrim=No UseAxisControlsForNRZ=No FlapsSetControl=0 FlapDetents=No ReverserControl=66292 Reverser1Control=66422 Reverser2Control=66425 Reverser3Control=66428 Reverser4Control=66431 MaxThrottleForReverser=256 AileronTrimControl=66731 RudderTrimControl=66732 CowlFlaps1Control=66162 CowlFlaps2Control=66163 CowlFlaps3Control=66164 CowlFlaps4Control=66165 SteeringTillerControl=0 MaxSteerSpeed=60 Aileron=-16380,0,783,16380 Elevator=-16383,-175,512,12813
Pete Dowson Posted August 25, 2013 Report Posted August 25, 2013 If I disable JOY controllers in Prep... axes will not be detected in FSUIPcIf I enable them again in Prep, axex will move in FSUIP and calibration is ok.... So my question is, shouldn't fsuipc detect axes when I have disabled the controllers in Prepar3D, what could cause them not to? Yes, but they won't be detected in the calibration section unless you actually assign them -- either in P3D or in FSUIPC's axis assignments sections. The calibration section merely calibrates the FS controls which result from assignments, they are nothing to do with detecting specific axes. Your INI file shows that the devices are detected and known: [JoyNames] AutoAssignLetters=No 1=USBAXESV2.0 1.GUID={3418CD10-57F9-11E2-8001-444553540000} 2=737YOKE-LE by ACE 2.GUID={9DFA8C50-B4FB-11E2-8004-444553540000} So all you need to do is assign them. Regards, Pete
