pvrijald Posted September 2, 2013 Report Posted September 2, 2013 Hallo Pete, I have a strange problem with WideFS starting Prosim737. If I first start Prosim737 and then WideFS everything works fine. However, if I have WideFS start Prosim737 (even with a delay) WideFS will ceash. I have added the Windows7 event log below. I hope you can help me with this. Pete Dowson Posted September 2, 2013 Report Posted September 2, 2013 I have a strange problem with WideFS starting Prosim737. If I first start Prosim737 and then WideFS everything works fine. However, if I have WideFS start Prosim737 (even with a delay) WideFS will ceash. I have added the Windows7 event log below. I hope you can help me with this.... Faulting module path: C:\Windows\system32\DINPUT.DLL ... Not much, really. It's a crash in DirectInput. Are you using buttons or joysticks on that PC? Does PROSIM use any? Looks like some sort of incompatiblity. If you don't use WideFS to send button presses to FSUIPC for assignment there, try simply stopping WideClient scanning devices -- put "ButtonScanInterval=0" into the main [Config] section of the INI file. Regards Pete
pvrijald Posted September 3, 2013 Author Report Posted September 3, 2013 Hallo Pete, Unfortunately this did not help. What I will do now is to start Prosim737 and WideFS automatically and then make sure that FSX starts a while later. Thanks for the suggestion. Best regards, --pim
Pete Dowson Posted September 3, 2013 Report Posted September 3, 2013 Unfortunately this did not help. The same crash, in DINPUT? With that parameter in place WideClient itself isn't using DINPUT -- unless you have some Lua programs running which do so. Pete
