CAVUJIM Posted September 8, 2003 Report Posted September 8, 2003 Is any work going to allow the mapping of PFC avionic panel to the GPS in FS9? It seems yuo can only map the lower buttons and they don't really correspond to the GPS. I am unable to map the DIRECT button or the turn knobs which would really make the GPS more functional.

You should be able to reprogram them all via the Buttons page in FSUIPC, assuming you have a full registered copy. The FS GPS controls are all in the drop-down list. I've really been far too busy to even take a look -- it is only since FS2004 tthat there have been any controls provided for the GPS in the first place. If you can come up with good assignments which work well, through FSUIPC, let me see them and maybe I can make them a choice in the PFC driver itself. My trouble is that I do not use any GPS, as I'm a Project Magenta user with airliners, so any assignments I might make may not be the most useful. Regards, Pete
CAVUJIM Posted September 8, 2003 Author Report Posted September 8, 2003 OK, I'll do that. I'm a charter 135 guy and use GPS alot. I was waitng for it to be a feature in FS. Its a bit of a chore getting the panels to appear and un-appear when using two monitors with undocked panels. Different then FS2002. What did they do to change this? Thanks for your great help and board. Jim
