flyforever Posted December 5, 2013 Report Posted December 5, 2013 As a result of shutting down FSX after an aircraft crash but before FSX could reset and reload, I now have the throttles always in reverse. With or without the joystick, the throttles will always go back to reverse or , in the case of a cessna, in idle. I have done every thing I could think of in terms of deleting files related to joystick function. I've deleted fsuipc, yet the issues still persists. Other than reinstalling FSX, can anyone think of a possible solution? tony
Ian P Posted December 5, 2013 Report Posted December 5, 2013 Try searching for and renaming FSX.cfg to FSX.old. Allow FSX to build a replacement file by running the sim and see if the problem goes away. That would be my next step. Cheers, Ian P.
flyforever Posted December 5, 2013 Author Report Posted December 5, 2013 Fixed it! One of two joysticks had its buttons automatically configured, which interfered with normal throttle operations. tony
