Reinstalling FSUIPC

I've reinstalled P3D v2 and also want to reinstall FSUIPC. Do I actually have to run the installer exe or can I simply restore the backup I've made of the Modules folder?

 

Either way: can I restore that same Modules folder after installing or restoring FSUIPC to get my preferred settings back? I also use LINDA: will restoring that folder restore all my controls at once...?

You need to run the Installer in order to set things up so that FSUIPC is actually loaded. What are you afraid of? The installer simply sets things for FSUIPC to run. It changes nothing else.

Yes, but do not replace a newer FSUIPC4.DLL with an older one. Best to just restore all the other files, mainly your FSUIPC4.INI file and KEY file ,and any bits of Linda etc.
