George S Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 Hi Guys Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with FSX or iFly 737 interfacing with FSUIPC, and the Pololu 12 channel servo controller card. Any help appreciated. Win7 64 bit, FSX, iFly B737 Many thanks George
hansenc Posted July 27, 2015 Report Posted July 27, 2015 Hi It's a long time this question has been asked any update on this issue ? It would be great if we could read FSUIPC offsets from the script which can be controlled by this servo card ! Regards Claus
Pete Dowson Posted July 27, 2015 Report Posted July 27, 2015 It would be great if we could read FSUIPC offsets from the script which can be controlled by this servo card ! Unless you want to write your own driver, you'll need to ask as Pololu Support. FSUIPC doesn't have any hardware support built in at all. It's an interface program for others to write applications and drivers to. I've no idea how the Pololu card interfaces, but if it is a USB or serially connected device then you could actually support it with a Lua plug-in rather than a separate VB, C# or C/C++ driver program. tryggi Posted November 4, 2015 Report Posted November 4, 2015 Hi to all, If this question is still interesting today, I might have a solution. Because I am interested in building historical flight simulators, I have developted a software to control a POLOLU servo card with FSUIPC. The project is still under construction, but some Gauges already function properly. To build instruments every servo can be used and calibrated within the software. The programm is called FSUIPCtoPOLOLU. Also I can deliver Modelservos with a Range of 270 to 300 degrees of freedom. These servos are perfect to create Instruments. Everybody interested in this topic can contact me at www.tns-systems.de or at this forum. And by the way: Pete you`ve done an outstanding job by creating FSUIPC and the SDKs. Thank you very much. kind regards from Germany Trygve
