James Militello Posted April 2, 2014 Report Posted April 2, 2014 Pete and users, I'm having issues establishing connections between my computer and Cirrus Precision Flight Controls. I've been researching the web and have read all of Pete's instructions. I downloaded the necessary drivers (or so I think), and tried the demo, but have had no luck. These sim controls were given to me with ASA OnTop 8.0 and seem to be first generation.. I've attached a photo. All connections are made via serial ports. They work well with OnTop and very responsive, but when I run the tests in FSX I get nothing. I'm honestly lost and frustrated because I don't know what I'm doing (right or wrong). Any help would mean a lot! Sincerely, James

Any help would mean a lot! I am pretty sure that the protocol used for On Top is not the same as the native PFC protocol and will therefore not be recognised or handled by any of my PFC drivers. I think you need to contact PFC, who may be able to convert them for you -- at a price, of course. Regards Pete
James Militello Posted April 3, 2014 Author Report Posted April 3, 2014 Pete, Thanks for the quick response! I'll check with them and tell you how it goes. Sincerely, James
