Hi there, my first time on the forum and this might seem a stupid question, so please accept my apologies!

I purchased FSUIPC in 2010 and never got around to installing it.

Now I would like to do so as I have retird and have a bit more time for FSX.

I notice that updates are available, for which I am quite happy to pay, but do I need to have the old onbe installed first for the upgrade to work.

Or do I have to just buy a new version outright?

It seems my key would certainly have expired anyway.

Thank you for obliging an old fella!

There are two current versions of FSUIPC -- FSUIPC3 for FS2004 and earlier, and FSUIPC4 for FSX and Prepar3D. If your key was purchased for FSX in 2010 then it is still valid -- they don't expire, and you never pay for updates.

Just download the current Installer (4.931) and run it. There are instructions inside the ZIP file which tell you whhat to do. discard your old copy.
