Grégoire Posted April 29, 2014 Report Posted April 29, 2014 Hi Pete I'm just new user of fspuic (I bought it yesterday) because my EFIS from goflight need it to run on the default 737 800 FSX So it's really difficult for me and I don't speak English too much. Does it exist a config file to download and put somewhere on FSX just the EFIS working on default 737 800. I have some other goflight modules but they work without fsuipc (to don't have a troubleshooting withs EFIS and the other modules) Does it exist some other link to download different config files ? I 'm sorry if this post is repeated but I didn't find a solution Thank you for your help Grégoire
Pete Dowson Posted April 29, 2014 Report Posted April 29, 2014 I had to move your FAQ subforum post to the Support Forum so it can get a support answer. I'm just new user of fspuic (I bought it yesterday) because my EFIS from goflight need it to run on the default 737 800 FSX So it's really difficult for me and I don't speak English too much. Really? Doesn't GoFlight support the EFIS? Do they expect everyone to work things out themselves? Do they actualy simply say you need FSUIPC? Does it exist a config file to download and put somewhere on FSX just the EFIS working on default 737 800. You can use assignments in the Buttons & Switches tab of FSUIPC options. Look down the list of FS controls you can assign to until you get to Efis. The ones you can use are Efis 738 ND centre Efis 738 ND arc Efis ND scale set (the parameter 0-7 selects) Efis ND mode set (the parameter 0-2 selects) Efis ND map item set (the parameter 0-3 selects) Efis VORADF1 set (the parameter 0-2 selects) Efis VORADF2 set (the parameter 0-2 selects) Microsoft never actually provided any controls for the EFIS switches. They are all locally handled in the gauge, so MS assumed you'd only ever use the mouse. FSUIPC actually uses L:Var ("local panel variable) access to implement these additional controls. I used to have a GoFlight MCP and EFIS, but I programmed it for Project Magenta, never for any default aircraft. Regards Pete
Grégoire Posted May 3, 2014 Author Report Posted May 3, 2014 Hi Pete Thank you very much for your help First I did'nt find because there is not EFIS on the FS list( PDF) but it's appear on the FS list switch button. and now that I need for my default aircraft is working good. Thank you
Goatpeter Posted February 12, 2015 Report Posted February 12, 2015 hello all, I think it's better to commence a discussion than to start a new one with the same topic... Assigning the Goflight EFIS buttons and switches with a default FSX boeing 737 - no problem with fsuipc as described earlier in this thread. Now I'm trying to setup fsuipc for use with Project Magenta GC and MCP. It is more difficult because of different "PM" commands. To help me out with this issue google found following code for me: [buttons]100=P170,0,C2999,82101=P170,1,C2999,96102=P170,2,C2999,95103=P170,3,C2999,94104=P170,4,C2999,93105=P170,5,C2999,90106=P170,6,C2999,72107=P170,8,C2999,74108=U170,8,C2999,73109=P170,9,C2999,75110=U170,9,C2999,73111=P170,10,C2999,77112=U170,10,C2999,76113=P170,11,C2999,78114=U170,11,C2999,76115=P170,12,C2999,26116=P170,13,C2999,14107=P170,14,Cx010004FA,x14118=P170,15,C66040,16211119=CU(-170,17)170,16,C2999,5120=CP(-170,17)170,16,C2999,3121=CU(+170,17)170,16,C2999,1122=CP(+170,17)170,16,C2999,4123=CU(-170,22)(-170,21)170,20,C2999,41124=CP(-170,22)(-170,21)170,20,C2999,42125=CU(-170,22)(+170,21)170,20,C2999,43126=CP(-170,22)(+170,21)170,20,C2999,44127=CU(+170,22)(-170,21)170,20,C2999,45128=CP(+170,22)(-170,21)170,20,C2999,46129=CU(+170,22)(+170,21)170,20,C2999,47130=P170,24,C65884,0131=P170,25,C65884,0132=P170,26,C65883,0133=P170,27,C65883,0134=P170,28,C2064,0135=P170,29,C2064,0136=P170,30,C2065,0137=P170,31,C2065,0 The buttons work fine, but the switches for ND mode and range inc and dec. doing something different than assumed. Did anyone deal with the same problem and can post his solution? I used to have a GoFlight MCP and EFIS, but I programmed it for Project Magenta, never for any default aircraft. How did you programme the MCP and EFIS? Thanks for your replies! Regards
