This does look like an error in WideClient. How did you "come to understand that this problem was WIDEFS"?  How do you decide that?

In any case, I would need the Version number of the WideClient you are using, and the WideClient log file. Also, the Windows event viewer data for the error, as there is insufficient information in your picture.

And why would you even be considering reformatting your PC just for an error on shut down which therefore obviously does not matter very much as it doesn't affect anything?

Or am i misunderstand your words?

Well, Pete. Coincidence or not, I´m also getting exactly the same error message and it all started yesterday, after I installed Flightsim Commander 9.5, which in turn automatically installs FSUIPC.

The only difference being that I use Prepar3d V2.2. Perhaps it´s worth having a look, don´t you agree?

Best regards,

You are posting on an 11 month old thread which has a title not related very much to your problem. Please, for new questions, please always startr a thread!

And it is not a WideFs problem, I'm afraid, but on in your system somewhere -- probably the network drivers or hardware.. And it isn't WideFS on your client but Wideclient.exe.

You can in any case get WideClient to close down automatically when you close FS. Please see the WideFs documentation.
