mabainca Posted June 19, 2014 Report Posted June 19, 2014 Good morning Pete I am with the JETMAX Throttle configuration now and i try to setup the engine reversers. JETMAX use buttons to do this. Following his manual: http://www.flightdecksolutions.com/pcupload/JetMaxTQv1.3.pdf (Page 21) Engine Reversers Engine reversers are switches in the JetMax throttle lever, use the following offsets: Offset Word Set Eng 1 Offset x088C Parameter -5800 End 2 Offset x0924 Parameter- 5800 Use Offset Word Set and the same offsets but use 0 as a parameter for returning to IDLE. I use this offsets following the manual indication and pics inside manual but doesnt work. I use FSX, IFLY 737 and IFLYTOFSUIPCS (the offset is not inside IflytoFsuipc manual to do this). Have last FSUIPC version new offsets? any idea? Thank for advance Mabainca
Pete Dowson Posted June 19, 2014 Report Posted June 19, 2014 I use this offsets following the manual indication and pics inside manual but doesnt work. I use FSX, IFLY 737 and IFLYTOFSUIPCS (the offset is not inside IflytoFsuipc manual to do this). Have last FSUIPC version new offsets? No. They've not changes at all since being defined in 1997 (FS98). Those are the Engine 1 and Engine 2 throttle control inputs, and setting them to any negative number within the aircraft's range will set FS's reverse thrust -- until and unless the values are overwritten again, possibly by normal throttle axis input. So, check several things: 1. The maximum reverse thrust on many aircraft is 25% of full thrust. It is defined in the aircraft.cfg file for the specific aircraft. A 25% reverse would have the value -4095. Your -5800 value is 35%, which is okay if the CFG file says the max is .35 2. Try is with -4095 and with the default FS 737, because add-on aircraft might behave differently in any case. Some sophisticate add-on aircraft manage their own throttles. 3. When applying the reverse you need to first make sure your throttles are in a stabile idle position, with no jitter to interfere. Make sure the throttle levers are properly calibrated with a good idle position. You can check what is going on using FSUIPC's logging facilities -- enable Button, Event and Axis logging. If you temporarily put FS into Windowed mode and enable the FSUIPC console log option you'll be able to see what is happening in real time. Pete
mabainca Posted June 19, 2014 Author Report Posted June 19, 2014 Well copy Pete I Will do this And i Will answers you with my results. Many thank Mabainca

Checked aircraft.cfg. 0.25 - 25%. My throttle has the next setup. Engine 1 from -6072 to 2656 And Engine 2 from -4754 till 3872. I use the offset x088C for engine 1 and 0924 for Eng 2 And parameter: -4095 following your advice And nothing. 3. No jitter to interference And has a good idle position. I enable Fsuipc console And both reversers buttons work fine but dont activate the reversers. Ive checked diferents parameters valúes And axis configuration And nothing. Thank pete but at the moment without results. Mabainca
Pete Dowson Posted June 21, 2014 Report Posted June 21, 2014 Throttle properly calibrated. No jitter to interference And has a good idle position. I enable Fsuipc console And both reversers buttons work fine but dont activate the reversers. Show me the FSUIPC4.LOG file from such a test. You can post it here, or if it is too large, Zip it and sent it to petedowson@btconnect.com. Pete
mabainca Posted June 23, 2014 Author Report Posted June 23, 2014 And finally is not necesary to add my log due work perfect after calibrate again the throttle from beginning. only i have desactivated the specific aircraft tick when i use fsuipc. Dont ask me what has it been the solution. i dont know..:-). Thank Pete for your full cooperation Regards Manuel
