Luca Storero Posted July 6, 2014 Report Posted July 6, 2014 Hello, i had a lot of trouble with Win 8.1 and the "usb joystick disconnect" bug... this is finally fixed thanks to FSUIPC joystick assignments, i'm very happy about it. After calibrating and assigning all the axis that i need i've found that while speedbrakes are retracted and the lever on my throttle is in the flaps retracted position, if i arm the speedbrakes, the lever on the sim will instantly jump to half setting and the speedbrakes get extended. To fix this i have to phisically move the lever on my throttle and the spoilers go back to zero. This means i cannot arm the speedbrakes for autodeployment.... Any solution? Thank you very much
Pete Dowson Posted July 6, 2014 Report Posted July 6, 2014 What you are describing only happens on the ground. It is an FS bug. You don't arm spoilers on the ground in any case. Test and calibrate in the air. Pete
Luca Storero Posted July 6, 2014 Author Report Posted July 6, 2014 Thank you for the answer, everything i wrote before was happening in the air, but i will make some further test with the calibration.
Luca Storero Posted July 7, 2014 Author Report Posted July 7, 2014 Hello Pete, i'm writing just to give you an update about my issue because i'm very satisfied of purchasing FSUIPC after a year of free user. Everything is fixed now, i was assigning axis in FSUIPC with the option "send to FS as a normal axis", i'm now using the option "send direct to FSUIPC calibration" and it works perfectly, i can arm the spoilers even on the ground and it works like a charm without moving my speedbrakes axis. Thank you for the fantastic product that FSUIPC is.
