ivanjay205 Posted August 5, 2014 Report Posted August 5, 2014 Hi all, Just bought FSUIPC to avoid in the infamous joystick issue in Windows 8. I followed a guideline I found and setup everything. All flight controls work great except for throttle. I have a Saitek X45. My reversers are engaged no matter what. My throttle also seems to be responding backwards (all the way up brings power down, but keeping reversers enabled). Any ideas on how to straighten that out? I did assign one of the buttons to be a F2 button press to enable my reversers
Pete Dowson Posted August 17, 2014 Report Posted August 17, 2014 Just bought FSUIPC to avoid in the infamous joystick issue in Windows 8. Not sure FSUIPC does always help with that -- some folks say it does, others don't seem to have those results. All flight controls work great except for throttle. I have a Saitek X45. My reversers are engaged no matter what. My throttle also seems to be responding backwards (all the way up brings power down, but keeping reversers enabled). Any ideas on how to straighten that out? There is a User Guide for FSUIPC which has a whole chapter of Joystick Calibration, and does explain the options on the calibration screen including the button marked "REV" (for "reverse"). I would strongly recommend following the staps to best calibration laid down clewarly for you. I did assign one of the buttons to be a F2 button press to enable my reversers If you don't want a reverse zone on the lever itself you need to also select "NRZ" or "no reverse zone" too. Again, exaplined in the user gide. Pete
