pdrgnn Posted August 30, 2014 Report Posted August 30, 2014 Hi, I am trying to set up my Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog Joystick and Throttle for the recently bought IRIS Warthog Driver II with Tacpack. In order to set up the Thrustmaster profile using the T.A.R.G.E.T. GUI, I need to know which key combination to assign to any joystick or throttle button. Since I coudn't find any mapping documentation from IRIS, I am asking if it is at all possible to intercept a Virtual cockpit switch press and see which keyboard key sequence is generated. FSUIPC4 registered installed, FSX Accelleration, Win 7 64 bit.. Thank you in advance for any suggestion! Ciao Giovanni
Pete Dowson Posted September 9, 2014 Report Posted September 9, 2014 I don't really understand the problem since I've no idea what an IRIS or Tacpack is, nor why key combinations are involved. Is there a specific aircraft in there somewhere? Most add-on aircraft use controls or local variables, not key combinations directly, though they can sometimes be assigned. With FSUIPC, registered or not, you can use the Logging facilities to log key presses and controls being sent into FS's simulation engine. Maybe those will help? Pete
