Hello. I'm receiving the following error message during some, not all flights. It usally happens around 3/4's of the way through the flight. The error message states "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. (Which it doesn't,. When I hit it, the system shuts down) If you click Quit, the application will close immediately. Also on the message at the bottom, it states "FSUIPC error #12: FSUIPC_ERR_SENDMSG. Error sending message to FSUIPC.

The top log is the new one that I just downloaded  today and the bottom log is the log where the system crashed again.

Hi Luke

It doesn't identify the addon.  It just shows tht there is an error #12.

Robert

What is "it"? The error message is from an add-on that's attempting to talk to FSUIPC.

Do you have a screen shot?

Cheers!

Luke

Hey Paul

Hopefully this picture works.  I start my FSX through a program called (REX 4 Texture Direct), plus (REX essential plus with overdrive).  I also use the following addons, Ultimate crew,  SPAD which is a driver program for my yoke system and flightsimfirstofficer.  I know that it is not Flightsimfirstofficer, Spad or Ultimate crew as I tried to fly without those addons, but still got the error.

Thanks

Robert

I also should have mentioned, but not sure this is casuing the problem, I'm having issues with the options-settings-controls menu, more specifically when I want to change a function on one of the default buttons from my key board to my flight yoke, it will allow the change, however, when I restart FSX, the option goes back to the default setting and I have to reset it again.  Again, not sure if this is what's casuing the other issues.

When you get the error next time, press the details button. This will show a text box. Copy all the contents of that text box and paste it here, That will show us exactly what program is causing this error.

Ok, by the looks of the message, it is the FSFO program that is causing me the headaches.  Can you please confirm and if so, I will delete the program immediately.

Thanks again for your help

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Perfect.  Have deleted the addon, simulator appears to be working fine.  Thanks for all of the help.  Are you familiar with any other programs that are simular to the FSFO addon and are compatible with FSUIPC?
