My FSCUIPC is not working in FSX-SE. When I tried to install it, it says my simconnect version is not supported (my version is 10.0.62 and it says FSUIPC works only in 10.0.60).

The installer goes like this:

Not there, so looking in:
     HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator - Steam Edition\10.0
     Parameter"AppPath"
... NOT found! ...

Can anyone help me? :(

Where does it say that? What version of FSUIPC are you trying to install? I could tell if you hadn't chopped off most of the Install Log. Please NEVER supply partial files, essential information is missing!!!

I suspect you are trying to install an out of date version of FSUIPC, but I can't help otherwise without the full log!!!

This is all I have. After that i got an error message:

" Your FSX installation is incorrect! The Version of SimConnect installed will not run FSUIPC4. You may need to repair the installation to rectify this first. No changes have been made by this program."

Okay. Your FSX-SE installation failed to install SimConnect. I have seen that before -- it happened to me once. I reported it to DTG but they could not reproduce it. I think it might be related to privilegs needed by the Steam based install process.

You can try to rectify this by installing it yourself. Go to

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\SDK\Core Utilities Kit\SimConnect SDK\lib

and execute the SimConnect.msi file you find there. When it indicates success, you can re-run the FSUIPC4 installer.

Please also report this failure of the Steam installer for FSX-SE to DTG on the FSX-SE forum on Steam

Thanks for the help Pete. I tried intalling SimConnect myself but I'm getting an error message at that too. I'll report it in DTG Forums and see what they can do.

By the way, the error I get when installing SimConnect is the following:

" " Error at installing assembly "Microsoft.FlightSimulator.SimConnect,type="win32",version="10.0.62608.0",publicKeyToken="1ed9da73c880e429",processorArchitecture="x86". "  "

I get the same kind message in all four SimConnect versions in the SDK file, with only the version and the publicKeyToken changing. I can post all of them if necessary.

I've already reported it in DTG forums on Steam, but if you could give me a light on this one I would really appreciate :)

Sorry, I don't know why the installers are failing. You could try right-clicking on the msi file and selecting "run as ... administrator", though msi files should assume that in any case.

Hello ~ I'm still running FS9, but my PC was idle for almost a year. Everything with Windows 10 (version 2004) is up to date and running great. FS-9 still runs good, but FSRealWx comes up with error "Not Connected". I tried reinstalling FSPUIC from the download 3.9999z9b zip file, uncompressed, ran as administrator. This gives me an error, "Cannot find FS9 installation". My Windows 10 is on a SSD, Drive C. My FS-9 is installed on a HDD, Drive D:

Seems then that the Registry entry telling programs where your FS9 is has been deleted or broken.

Didn't the FSUIPC Installer ask you to find the FS9 EXE manually?

If that doesn't work then there are two choices:

1. Re-install FS9 so that the registry is corrected, or
2. Find a utility which will correct the registry.  Look for the registry repair utilty. Try
